DIRECTOR, GLOBAL MONSTER EXPANSION
If this podcast were "The Three Stooges," I’d probably be Moe. Turn Ons: My wife, sci-fi and horror, podcasting, comedy writing, toy collecting, rock n’ roll, and “Night of the Lepus” cosplay. Turns Offs: Mean people, disco, and "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang." Goals: To bring Monster Party to the world, start a garage kit building commune in Japan, and to find my proper place in this human centipede called life. Hopefully closer to the front.

I’ve had a fanatical love for monsters, horror, and sci-fi since I was a wee lad. I collect toys, both vintage and new, watch genre films and TV shows obsessively, and have a massive library of monster movies and weird cinema on blu-ray and DVD. (Yay for physical media!) I’ve been told that my encyclopedic knowledge of obscure films is uncanny… which I take as a huge compliment. Co-hosting the Monster Party podcast is the inevitable extension of my passion for all things scary, dark, bizarre, and cool.

How can I be branded the show's "curmudgeon" when there's so much that rocks my world? Classic horror, kaiju movies, film music, cosplay, Stephen King, 007, Hitchcock, Japan, Alan Moore, Hanna-Barbera, Gerry Anderson, Rankin/Bass, and Randy Newman? The only thing I can't tolerate is the garbage that currently represents 98% of the "entertainment" industry, and overrated vintage "classics" that were crap then and are still crap. And the term "Dad Jokes."

REGULAR JOE
I have always tried to keep that same sense of wonder I had as a child. Since the age of 5 when I first watched the 1933 version of King Kong on our family's black & white television set, I was hooked! Since then, I've been in love with monsters, aliens, and creatures from the deep, many of which I thought were just misunderstood. I mean, poor Reptilicus! I really do treasure my many early monster memories, books and toys of my youth, and have acquired quite a collection over the past 50 years! As an adult, I enjoy discussing these and many other monstrous topics with my co-hosts, and I try to spread a little childhood "joy" and "wonder" their way! They sure do need it!
